A native northerner, i was born and raised in the small town of Marquette, Michigan. After graduating high school, i remained in the area to attend Northern Michigan University's School of Art and Design. After four and a half years, a semester abroad in Japan, and many many hours in the design studios, i graduated with my B.F.A. in Electronic Imaging. Which is fancy talk for, "jack-of-all-trades".

After college, I worked freelance doing illustrations, logo design, and various t-shirt designs for private clients as well as a local marketing company, and in 2008 I was hired as the graphic artist for WLUC TV6 News. I was later hired by the parent company to work on a corporate level. I have migrated to the greater New York City area and am currently employed as a Regional Graphics Manager for Barrington Broadcasting.

Even now, working full time I manage to find time to teach myself digital painting and not a day goes by where I'm not habitually sketching something, either on computer or on paper. I dabble in other media as well, such as Flash, Web Design, traiditional media such as ink and marker, costume making, sculpting, and photography. I have taken my impromptu title of 'jack-of-all-trades' and run with it.
